Artemis is an iconic, immortal goddess known for her fearlessness and transformative qualities. Symbolically, we invoke the power of her name as a representation of art’s ability to renew and transform. As the first commercial art gallery in Portugal dedicated to New Media Art, we are thrilled to contribute to an artistic movement shaped in a pivotal moment of global culture. With four years of existence, Artemis Gallery represents 16 artists from various continents, has presented numerous collective exhibitions in and out of Portugal, and has participated in several art fairs, including Art Singapore, Photo London, SPARK Art Fair Vienna, ENTER Art Fair Copenhagen, KIAF Seoul, Digital Art Fair Hong Kong, Art Dubai, and Art Düsseldorf. These experiences have allowed us to showcase the forefront of New Media Art on a global stage, connecting with diverse audiences and expanding the reach of our creative contributors. Our mission is to support emerging and established artists in Portugal and abroad, providing them with the necessary resources to develop their artistic process. We are committed to building a strong framework that fosters collaboration and mutual growth among artists, collectors, institutions, customers, and art fairs. The gallery has already presented some of the best-known creatives working in the new media art field of contemporary art, as well as relevant curators worldwide, solidifying our position as a key player in this dynamic art movement. We pride ourselves on promoting creative flow within an open, innovative art space. Our goal is to embrace the present, build a bridge to the future, and inspire the world through art and technology.
